A wheel-thrown stoneware vase in a two-tone dip glaze — raw terracotta below, soft matte sand above, with the meeting line left uneven on purpose. The medium size is the workhorse of the Terra range: tall enough for long stems, heavy enough in the base that it will not tip when the arrangement leans.

Made by hand

Each piece is thrown and glazed individually, then fired twice. Small variations in the glaze line, tone and surface texture are part of the process, so no two vases are identical.

Use

Fully watertight and suitable for fresh flowers, dried stems or standing on its own as a shelf object. The unglazed foot is left raw, so use a coaster or felt pad on polished surfaces.

Storage Instruction

Hand wash in warm water with a soft cloth. No dishwasher, no abrasive scourers, no bleach. The unglazed foot is porous, so dry it fully and use a felt pad on polished wood.

How to Use

Fill to roughly two thirds for fresh stems and change the water every second day. For dried arrangements, weight the base with a handful of pebbles before you build the shape.
